Looked on Norbo's shop page but can't see them. Wheres the best place to get them from? From what I can gather, you drill out the existing rivets and drill & tap to fit countersunk head screws in their place? Was there a thread on this? Also looking for some heavier duty springs too? Cheers, Bill.

Norbo does do the heavier springs but IMHO putting three tz750 springs in made the clutch too heavy, have three yzr500 clutch springs in kaf and its a lot lighter, so ask norbo for three yzr springs

Hi I got my basket from Norbo, and the Wiseco dampers from Nk racing, £23.00 posted. I drilled the rivets out on the back of the basket, and reassembled everything. Easy job really, once you've done the rivets. There is no need to countersink the back plate. It is hardened and not easy to do. Also, the 4 small bolts supplied with the basket do the job they are intended to. I spoke to Nigel at NK about this as there had been some discussion on the forum about them not being long enough etc. Nigel assured me that the bolts are there to hold the back plate on only, and take no stress from the forces acting on the clutch basket. I reckon that all the design and effort Mitaka put into making these baskets wouldn't be compromised by the use of inferior bolts. Only thing I did do was use a good stud lock on the threads so they cant come loose, but I do that with all internal screws/bolts anyway. Other members are using these baskets with the fixings supplied, and I'm sure we would hear of failures due to poor quality bolts.
Regards
Dusty
