Can anyone tell me if there is a list of new parts that yam still stock for the YPVS as i was looking for a clutch boss secondhand but could not find one when someone on the forum told me that yam still stock this part! So went into dealers and ordered perfect and while there asked if they had a list of parts still stocked and the answer was no you can't get that. Does anyone have a list or is this something the forum could setup? As it was really usefull to me and im sure others would find it helpfull in future Cheers kevin

Lots of parts are still available though most with newer part numbers. Easiest thing to do is just phone up and ask if you particularly need something. But its odd sometimes,eg, 2 of the coolant hoses for the lc are still available but 1 is not.

My local Yamaha dealer is ish, the parts fella is superb though I give him original part # from fiche, he looks up and checks the superceded part # for price/availability... Thanks to lcclub.co.uk www.lcclub.co.uk/RD350N2.pdf

Fowlers have a record of all parts that are still available from Yamaha but I think you have to have a trade account with them to view it. I often get new parts for my Lc hybrid from them by viewing it at my local bike shop and getting him to order it. It tells you if it still available from yamaha and if fowlers have it in stock. It's just like an old microfiche and the availability and price are on screen.

The problem with this is that the list will constantly change, some parts will become NLA whilst the opposite does also happen, whereby a one time NLA part becomes relisted. If you have a correct part number........it doesn't even need to be the latest number, ring Fowlers or Granbys......your local dealer should be able to as well, ask for the price and availability, they will tell you the superceded part number and price or if it is NLA, most places are usually very helpful.
