basically i have a 1987f2 frame with v5 and a 31k engine that was rebuilt about a year ago , i have no wiring loom or switchgear , what i need to know is do i use the 31k loom or are the f2 looms the same ,connectors etc the same ? im just not sure which is best thanks

31k and f2 looms are different and so is the switchgear, so if you stick to the same prefix for all of the components you need you'll be ok

have you got the cdi or stator?probably best to use the loom that matches these as the 2 bikes have different connections. if you've got nothing then as said just keep to the same model bike for all your bits.

yes engine complete with carbs , stator etc so il use the 31k loom i think, should be ok for getting parts as plenty on here and ebay
