got a ypvs n1 and i think it needs bigger jets, its got ram air filters and giannelli exhausts it did have a boost bottle on as well but i'v taken that off cause it was running that bad....... can anybody help with what size jets a should use and are the boost bottles any good, should i just stick with the standard connector pipe

start large with your mains and do a plug chop ,boost bottles are generally fitted to get rid of flat spots, but it wouldn't make it run badly , you must have an other problem , would help if you could say exactly whats happening in the way of poor running

it will rev and drop revs ok when stood but when riding its real sluggish setting off and the revs dont drop when changing gear....its a n2 not n1

Hi, If you've got powerjet carbs fitted, they are known for being difficult to set up with pod filters. 31K non powerjets are better with pods. Also K&N style filters with metal end caps are worst than the foam style pods. It's trial and error with settings, but as said, start big and work down.
