Took the LC for a 20 mile spin to start running her in, got nicked at 59mph in a 50, 60 quid and 3 points! Good job I was running in or it would have been much worse! LC's make you do it.

Was out Saturday on the 350R over the north yorks moors to Whitby, down the coast to Scarborough, total 190 miles.
Bike ran flawlessly until coming home on the Tadcaster bypass, and it gave a couple of cough's at about 80mph, just as though it was running out of fuel, but as I'd filled up in Whitby I knew it wasn't, on looking at the temperature gauge it was reading above three quarters, I have never seen it that high, the air temp was 85 deg though, so I slowed down to 50mph the bike was still running ok, no unusual noises, but now I was worried, what with all the stories of overheating, head gasket blowing, loss of coolant, seizing.
Kept off the Motorway and into Leeds were the temperature had by now come down to half way, so rode it normally the rest of the way home.
Sunday I checked the bike over and found nothing untoward, the plugs were just right, though one had a loose screw on top to it.
So to conclude I think the bike like myself is not used to these high temperature's and was just letting me know.
