Hi everyone, just weighing up fork options for the 250 lc, seen a few fitted with i think 31k ones, do you have to change the yokes? also how much more improved are they over the standard lc forks and can you run normal 4l1 lc wheels and bars? massive thanks in advance Tom

I Fitted 31K (LC2) forks last year, to my 4L1 (with a 350 top) yes you will need the yokes from 31K, but stem is straight in, headlamp brackets stretch to fit nicely too, front wheel is straight in, callipers etc.. everything else fits.
Just make sure the forks you get are LC2 as F1 and F2 lowers can be fitted to the upper legs on a 31K (mix and match). You will need spacers if you want to keep the 4L1 mudguard as the fitting points for 31K muddy are wider than 4L1, 5mm each side from memory.
Its a real easy swap, the forks look better, slightly larger diameter upper, should make them flex less, but not noticeable, but then I don't ride too hard these days!
