Much better to run autolube in my view. Premix is a hassle and you end up running much more oil at part throttle than is needed. This means you're more likely to clag up the engine. Also you'll need to reject the carbs to account for the oil in the fuel (bigger gets needed to keep the same air:fuel ratio).

Deffo run the pump on these bikes for fast road use. At high rpm on a closed throttle the engine will be getting naff all oil on premix. OK for race bikes as they are virtually full throttle most of the time. A correctly set up and maintained pump is the way to go, but there are plenty running premix because they fear pump failure and I can understand that. You can get pump blanking plates if you wish to convert, but I wold stick with the pump.

Sometimes better with premix if your motors tuned and you drive it hard..I like it because i can use 747 which smells ace..
