Think I may have a small oil leak coming from my gear selector shaft..... I assume there must be a seal somewhere ?? Is this an easy fix??

As I understand it, the shaft wears at a particulary spot, where the seal sits, so sometimes even a new seal wont cure it.
I believe its a case of removing both engine cases, freeing it from the gear change mechanism clutth side and sliding it out.
Mine is also doing the same, just slightly. Going to hold that off for the Winter if I can.

On LC/YPVS models, remove clutch basket & slide out gear shaft to inspect - if you have a ridge, then it's best to replace it. I believe that norbo sells them. I personally wouldn't try replacing oil seal with shaft in situ.

Check your local bearings supplier, I got oil seals for gearshift - thay are 1mm thinner than standard - the seal sits on a fresh part of the shaft
