Ok boys. I feel my Dt isn't making me suicidal enough, so am gonna take off my ultra reliable 250 top end and fit a 350.... Quick question: what main jet, emulsion tube, pilot and needle position and type should I start with? Standard porting, air box with Gibson race pipes. Cheers Bill

Take the numbers right out the 31k Manual, Haynes even. Pipes are after the combustion and have less real world effect on mixture than many claim.

Yes, that's what I'm after but have no 31k info! Take the numbers right out the 31k Manual, Haynes even. Pipes are after the combustion and have less real world effect on mixture than many claim.

Paulo, thats brilliant, thank you. One of mine has a 345 P-0 the other is unmarked, maybe from a ledar kit so looks like i need another 345 P-0 One more thing, seeing as you have more than one set... The non choke side body has two drillings above the inlet to the rubber manifold. one has a brass plug, the other does not, but they are both plugged on the choke side - is yours the same? Thanks.

Hi M8 here's a photo of the non choke carb - is it the area to the top of the airfilter side ?. Non carb side has no hole for either. Choke side has a hole and a brass blanking ball fitted. To the bottom of the inlet there are x2 holes blanked off with brass balls and a hole where you can see the side of the air screw - both carbs are the same in this area. Attachments:
