I am hoping that I have found one problem that may be a cause to my long term low revs carb issue.... Changed the needles and tubes tonight and I could see a minor difference in the emulsion tube holes where the needle slides,. Might just be one is new shinny and other darer but I m sure it's lightly worn. Bike done 28 k so I would strongly advise anyone with high miles bike having carb issues this is a good starting point. Here is the pics

update after fitting bike was not moving off very well ok when it got to 3k ish so turned in teh air screw 1/2 turn and it solved the issue not picks up straight off the throttle.
gone down one tooth on the front. like the effect but I was expecting greater pull through the gears yet it apprear to have lost a little go! cant be the spocket change starting to think that new needles etc have made it a little lean.
have been out for test ride 40mls and all was fine.
really clad i anged the emulsion tubes and needles.
