Got a V5 from DVLA for my newly registered Swiss import DT.
Had been surprised it went trouble free as it was after NOVA came in and I had a back dated 386 form. Went to DVLA local office on the Friday, got a reg number in the post Tuesday along with the tax disc and updated MOT and the V5 arrived today.
Just checked it and my details and the bike details are correct other than it saying first registration was 18/7/1995 but on the other side of the form says declared manufactured 1985 which is correct but it was first registered on 18/7/1985 not 1995
I am tending to think it does not matter a sh1t especially as you don't get the original Swiss doc back so I cannot prove it now and there is no hiding it was registered in another country anyway.
Should I just say stuff it as it is now legal in the UK

Steve, Personally I wouldn't give a hoot if it were me. It all depends on the brain power of a potential future buyer understanding that the bike can be dated by frame/engine numbers and that the authorities generally don't give a toss if they fookup. Were these bikes made identical spanning 10 years? me finks not CJ

It would bother me a tad,as it is you or you wouldnt be asking the question Steve?!
They cant take the entitlement back off you, id at least have an attempt at getting it on a 85 number rather than the 95...

it is just the first reg date that is wrong stating 95 which i am sure it said 85 on the swiss doc.
the v5 does have the correct date reg in uk, the manufacture date of 85 and they have assigned it a b reg which is 85
suppose late reg bikes have dates which are not when they have been made
