Hello all my F2 was in the garage until the weather got better about 3 weeks ago - it will start first kick and runs as sweet as a nut on the stand.
It will pull away up to 4K and then it goes flat and any throttle input takes about 20 seconds until it pulls.
If I pull the chock out it runs OK.
I have changed the plugs and cleaned out the carbs - new fuel as well.
I assume the carbs are to blame as I have not touched anything since last year when it was runnning beautifully. Could it be a coil problem as the problem happens under load only.
Helppppppp@@!!

Are they power yet carbs ? Had similar on mine and was blocked power jet. I think Power jet comes into play when motor labouring. If pulling choke out helps it would think it is a carb problem (lean).

When you cleaned the carbs did you remove the emulsion tubes from the carbs? Sound like the same problem I had with mine and that's what was blocked.

To help others - what I did - take the float chambers off and take the main jets out, clean with carb cleaner, also blast out the power jet pipe from the side of the carb to the float chamber.
Not difficult but once you know you know - good luck
