Is there anyone out there that can pull a dent out of an exhaust pipe before re chroming at all???

See a nifty trick on here were bloke pressurised the chamber with pump (air). Then heated the dents up with torch . Looked like it worked well. Think it was high pressure though. Can't remember what section it was in though had pics and all.

depends where and how bad.in the past i welded a plate on my mates allspeed to cover a dent in the r/h pipe.ok they were going to be painted black so didnt need to be top notch.then there is cut and shut get at dent sort it then weld up the access point.

I've read about people filling them up with water and putting them in the freezer. Anyone tried that???

i have done these a few times for moto cross bikes,block one end of exhaust,use a air gun the other end pressed into a bung so its air tight,heat up the dent very carefully if using acetylene,when a red glow is there take of the heat and sqeeze pressure into pipe,do not go mad with the air pressure otherwise it will blow out,just take your time and dont rush,if exhausts cools down heat it up again untill the dent pops out,its hard to type wat i mean but hopefully this will help,im a welder fabricater so hopefully im right lol
