my front brake keep comin on and stayin on but not all the time and im getting a build up of presure in the system to the extent that you cant pull the lever in, then it goes normal again then on solid it is much worse when hot i have bleed them so no air locks and i cant see that the pistons are stickin? Any help would be appreciated cheers kevin

Is the tiny hole in the master cylinder clear?

Do you have sufficient free play at the lever?

Geriatric rubber brake hoses sometimes deteriorate/swell internally to the extent that they act as a one way valve. If it isn't your master's wee hole, then it's likely you need fresh brake lines

thanks and the play in the lever varies at times it is solid then your get the normal amount of play then its goes solid again!!!

Silly question You ain't just got too much fluid have you,sure it swells up when it gets warm,just a thought

no level ok thx tried dropping level as well still happened seems like the system is pressurizing then de-presurizing on and off at will!

My mate had exact same problem with the rear on a aprilia and only way to get it to let go was to crack bleed nipple off turned out to be the brake was binding and expanding fluid putting brake on, so check to see what binding
