It's one thing to build one over a few years costing that, but another to slap 15 large down in one for it. Nice bike though, and just what I want!

It's one thing to build one over a few years costing that, but another to slap 15 large down in one for it. Nice bike though, and just what I want! Thats a good point. And I bought my LC to tinker about with it and personalise it as much as I did to ride it. I personally wouldn't buy a 'classic' bike that was all finished, tinkering about with it is half the fun. I might complain about dirty hands and skinned knuckles but I love spending time in the garage messing about with my bike, as soon as I get in from work I'm changed and in the garage. If I wanted a finished bike that didn't need any work I'd just go and buy a new one.

Wonder how much that would cost to build up , for 15k I'd expect proper ohlins forks instead of production ones though

The hardest part on this would be getting the engine fitted , the rest of it is almost off the shelf stuff. It's a nice looking bike but for that price I'd expect a lot more. If it does sell I know what bike I'll be making next
