I had no NCB after a spell off road bikes and just wanted the cheapest insurance I could get for my import LC. I got it through Just Motorcycle Insurance for £70 TPFT, I think they're a part of Carole Nash.
Cheap as chips, its bog standard basic insurance with no frills just to tick the box, next year I'll probably go for something a bit more comprehensive but I just needed it to get legal and have some fun over summer. Cheapest other like for like quote was over £100. The classic policy from Footman James was £130-odd.

I went with Peter James Insurance RD350LC. Kawasaki H1 . Ducati monster750 fully comp £170 no mileage restrictions, agreed value on the classics, insured while under repair, so of someone nicks your engine while its on the bench being rebuilt, they will pay up ( not sure how they will source a matching number engine? ) I thought it seems good enough

Peter James every time, spot on. When you phone them up you actually get to speak to someone straight away. £87 for the lc, full comp, breakdown cover, agreed value, the lot.

I'm still using Ebike but looking at some of the quotes on here I may be with the wrong company. If you take out a standard policy - they do give you a "free" classic policy though

forgot to mention - you do get free break down cover included and because Ebike is internet based - you could take off and put on bikes to the policy almost immediately with no admin fee

I used Swinton before but not anymore, not very flexible in offering me a dual bike policy. And they keep pestering me months before renewal, and email spam to the point I had to block them.
