I have been offered for a reasonable sum some Nikkon expansion pipes for my standard 250LC. To be honest I had never heard of them before as I was fancying Allspeeds. Has anyone any advice about them on a standard LC,can I keep the centre stand, are they a mid-range or top end pipe or are they more for a modified bike? Any advice would be appreciated Thanks in advance guys.

Hi i have nikkons on my 350lc, bit of a bugger to set up but sound and look very nice, no you cant keep center stand because the brackets on the frame inter fear with the pipes

The probel with nickons are the end cans the pipes are fine but you need to replace the end cans as they have a small bore

Not tried on an LC (so comments may be worthless) but tried Nikkons on a YPVS 350 and TZR 250 both with standard ignitions.
Both had a big hole in power curve, and would need some ignition mods to make work on those bikes.
