I watched George Formby in "No Limit" last weekend riding the Shuttleworth Snap in the TT. Me and my apprentice (daughter) really enjoyed it, so whats yours................... ;D

"bloodrunners" made by Andy sparrow the guy who penned jack shit in bike mag. i have a copy on video an original of course (as well as two giant double sided posters, postcard collection, few 't' shirts, both full length books of his strips and his sticker collection. not a lot really!)

Silver dream racer and Psychomania are among my faves too, also Hell's Angels on Wheels, starring a real young Jack Nicholson.

Stone. Aussie bike movie before Mad Max from around 1973. Memories of an amazing street race with a Z900 and an old Commando, not hanging about either. Introduced us to a young Hugh Keays Byrne who later appeared as the Toecutter in the first Mad Max movie Really ham acting but a great bike movie.

Psychomania was filmed around the corner from me in Walton. That tower block where one of the bikers jumped out is still there.
For me...Mad Max...original and part 2. Fabulous big Kwaks and a couple of crapola Hondas. The budget on that film was so tiny they'd wrap silver foil on parts of the bikes to make them look more trick. The blue van that gets totalled in the opening sequence was George Miller's own vehicle. They were so broke they used his!

That thing nudged 140 on his ride after the night with the singer....still no idea how Johnny the Boy got his rear brake to lock up lol. One leg up on the KH eating an apple...style.
All of that lot are still acting. The Toecutter (Hugh Keays-Byrne) was in Fury Road...nice touch that. Still think Mel should have had at least a walk on part but Tom Hardy nailed it. Fantastic actor.
Always wanted to make 3 replicas from that film. Gooose's bike. The Toecutter's and Johnny's red/purple Kwacker. Maybe Buba Zanetti's too lol.

Cut his rear axle wheel locked up i guess due to movement and the chain coming off.

Nah..whole rear end seized solid. Unless the chain got wedged in...doesn't matter really I'll let them have a bit of artistic licence lol.
And...I would love a Ford Falcon!

Hi Norbo, Its a great film, we watched it again for the first time in years, a few months ago. Here is an ancient photo of me and a mate doing our "Clown and Wolfman" impression on a campsite on the Isle of Arran circa 1985 or there abouts. Im on the back getting a lift up to the shower block one morning with my towel and clean breeks under my arm. Steven. i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz165/tango11/scan0037.jpg
