My 4LO tends to leak fuel through the top of the fuel cap (ie where the lock barrel is) which is driving me nuts. Anyone run into this before or have a solution?
The rubber gasket that seals the cap to the tank is in place but the fuel seems to find its way into the lock mechanism and up through there.

Nobody? I am the only 4LO owner in the commonwealth with a leaky fuel filler cap?

I have the same issue, bought an aftermarket one which is a leaker => checked with Yamaha for a original one and they wanted 85 pounds... Any other ideas?

Ive just been stripping down a couple of old fuel caps to refurbish them. There is an "O" ring at the bottom of the lock barrel about 18mm OD. It's likely that if its an old cap the "O" ring is perished.
