decided to turn my cellar into a games room/man cave complete with snooker table, bar and two complete bikes. after spending a week cleaning all the brickwork with an angle grinder and wire wheel, i decided to remove the parapets to make more room, another couple of days work, or so i thought!!! removed 1st parapet only to find that i had gone below the house footings, big oops!!! so in with smaller reinforced parapets, an extra weeks work!!, took over eight tonne of rubble out and had to put back another four tonne!!. Anyway floor is getting leveled this week and it'll be ready for tanking when i get home in a couple of weeks. I'll post more pictures as it comes along.

Thats nice, a real propper 'man cave'
Does it have access to outside? or is it not for bikes?

we've bricked up the outside access, and i know a few on here are going to cringe, but yes a couple of my bikes are going down there on pedestals. The 800 mile ypvs is going down there, after i had it MOT'd and was going to tax it, I decided that it would be best not to ride it, as its more of an investment and will look pretty cool in the cellar opposite the Duke foggy rep.

This will be excellent, be a bit scary getting the bikes down there though. Good luck. Be no problem, new hatch and staircase going in, the LC will be easy due to it weights next to nothing, but the foggy rep, will have to be stripped down to frame and engine i think.

Coming along nicely! That basement looked creepy as f**k at first, but now it's starting to look great. Can't wait to see the final result. Are going to paint the walls etc later?

The walls and floor are going to be treated with a three stage tanking chemical to stop any damp, then insulated and finally plasterboarded. Will be doing that next week.
