This is my original N1 in 1988... The new one is in quite a lot of pieces still... Too much work to do and not enough time... It'll be ready soon enough... Reg Attachments:

Hi Nick, Where did you get your NOS bits from I have been trying to get a new red seat for my N1 plus back clocks cover and right hand mirror but with no luck. Cheers Col The back clock cover you can still get from US dealers but it will be about £120 with taxes, postage and import duty, so not exactly a bargain! The same clocks were fitted to the early TZR250, as well as the FZR1000 EXUP, FZR600 and maybe some other models too, so there are still NOS items available but they do take some finding. I bought a NOS FZR600 rear clock case for my 350N from Wemoto two weeks ago for £50.50 inc p+p but it must have been the last one they had in stock because it is now shown as unavailable. This might help you with a part number to look elsewhere yourself though: www.wemoto.com/parts/picture/YH-2GH-83579-00-00/and these three for the part numbers, or to buy from the US: www.motosport.com/motorcycle/oem-parts/YAMAHA/1988/FZR1000/METERwww.ronayers.com/fiche/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/4/Make/Yamaha/YearID/41/Year/2000/ModelID/5967/Model/YZF600R/GroupID/241593/Group/METERwww.partzilla.com/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/1987/FZR1000TC%20%28CA%20ED.%29/METER/parts.htmlI also bought a NOS top cover for the clocks last month but that was from a seller on eBay and not a dealer - £112 inc delivery. Part number is 1AR-83611-00 if this helps at all. If you want the two screws that hold the thermostat in place from the top of the case, the bolts for the clocks to top yoke, and the nuts/spacers/damper rubbers that hold the clocks together at the back of the case then you can get them all from Granbys within a week as they are still a stocked item. The thermostat screws are something like £1.08 each so a bargain for something that is on plain view on the bike. Use the FZR1000 EXUP part numbers if you can't find the ones for the 350N: granbymotors.co.uk/motorcycle-spare-parts?lnk=YamahaHaving your seat recovered would be far easier than trying to get hold of a NOS one, they are unique to the 350N unlike the other bits you are after. Up until looking for the top and bottom clock covers, I had never tried to find NOS parts before .. if I can get hold of both of these within a few weeks then anyone can do it ;D

I should also add that forum member 14cheeks told me about the top clock cover on eBay so he deserves the credit for finding that and passing it on to me
