i did try them OEB wanted just short of £210 for the same cover. i can get cheaper if i only want to insure 1 bike, but the cost of swapping over to the other bike doesnt make it worth it

I got ebike fully comp on the RD & wondered how much to add my RSVR as the insurance is due soon, only got 1 year NCD on the RD so to add the RSVR was gonna be an extra £177.00 Thought I'd try the RSVR on ebike on it's own as I have 9 years NCD on that & it came up as £220.00 WTF

Peter James wouldn't cover me becuase of the MV, which seems daft, but hey ho, went to ebike, got the MV and LC for £170 fully comp, I've got 30+yrs riding non stop and 100% NCB and a clean license I was with Swinton last year, they quoted my renewal this year and said they couldn't insure me as my LC had non-standard (performance exhausts on it) - so they wouldn't insure me to ride a 50BHP 2-stroke, but was happy to insure me to ride a 150BHP MV - what the f**k - go figure !

Im sure you can get a classic policy on a 125 now , is this what you have been asking for or just normal insurance

its just a normal policy not classic, im happy with the quote i have from carole nash as it includes the extra's that the others wanted to charge me extra for.

ive just phones bennets to make sure they have take my policy off automatic renewal and the cheeky feckers tried to tell me there is a £40 charge for changes to my policy. after a quick word with their supervisor and the threats of the insurance ombudsman they very quickly realised that there is no charge for not renewing your policy.
