Before I bought the pd I did a load of research and reading and one of your previous threads was very helpful. I have made a tool to hold the rotor ( not as professional looking as yours, but it works). Havenβt had time today to finish it though.

Put some plugs in the standard LC and took it for a quick spin before sticking it up for sale..then set about stripping the bits off the keeper that Iβm going to be playing with.

Took the LC2 for its MOT, it passed after about 30 seconds of the tester admiring it. Developed a strange wirring noise on deceleration which stops when the bike stops. Stripped the front calipers down and the pads look like one may have had something stuck between it and the disk. Will give it a ride out tomorrow to test, as too wet today.

Had the barrels and head off the YPVS to fix a leaking head gasket. Sent it out to get the head skimmed and the squish modded and the dome machined for pump gas. It was modded for race gas and it was a PITA. I tweaked a lot of my ports. Itβs heavily ported already. Just wanted to get more more flow through it. Digging out a few HP π

Booked an appointment at image works to have my decals fitted ( f**ked up to sets on the tank already ) . Then took my wheels up to C J Ward in Burton On Trent to be refurbed back to standard. He showed me a set heβd done , Shit!! Thatβs good workmanship. New sheds up and sorted, rebuild starts 1st June. Happy days π

Yes it was good fun. We were allowed to ride from the circuit to the center of Rockanje with the racers. The public lined the streets waving at us and making pictures. I have never ridden in a blue haze for about 5 miles before. Some of those 50 cc racers make an ear splitting noise enough to drown out the 500 cc open pipe fourstrokes and make your ear bleed.π
There was no chip shop but one of us was pulling wheelies to impress a young lady.
Hmm who do you think this was?

The gold spot callipers I ordered from the states turned up a couple of weeks ago,so they were stripped cleaned and dropped into the powdercoaters to be done in satin black. Just spent a therapeutic hour rebuilding with new seals and ferodo platinum pads...still awaiting the brackets to fit them so I can work out the hoses Iβm gonna need with the new remote master cylinder.
