Ok it's a rough fitting but thought i'd see if an old unit I had for my gsxr would fit as the original tail is split and so is the seat, thought this would get me up and running, needs shortening but only if you guys think it's passable rather than laughable!!! I won't take offence although I have seen worse! Did think the tip needs to be higher and with some high level cans it would look better. Opinions please Attachments:

It's got potential, makes the rear suspension look collapsed, may look better a bit shorter and jacked up a bit

Yogiburr, this was the angle I was after before cutting. But I'm getting the general feeling of 'no!'. Didn't really want to cut the frame up to weld on a new sub-frame, sam123's r1 and ducati rear ends are sweet but as i said it means chopping. Oh well just a trial. Attachments:

Kinda agree that the lines aren't the best but this was my old girl stolen when I was 18 (some years ago now), but she had an ARD racing seat unit fitted. Although not a great photo ( and the only one i have!) I think race/single seat units can work but just not the one i tried. Attachments:

HORRIBLE! Put an LC rear unit back on there. Edit: On the contrary though, this doesn't look too bad!

Hello Billy, TBO that really don't do it for me, i like cafe racer style but with spoked wheels. Guess i'll stick with the masses and go with speed block!! Just got to decide what colour.

Ok, it was only on a short while to offer it up, she was put back to this straight after the photo. Sorry I hurt your eyes guys, could have been worse, like the zx10r I bought the guy had 'streetfightered' but in order to hold the wiring loom he drilled the frame near the headstock in 2 spots for cable tie's!!
