Hi how many of you run tubeless tyres on your bikes and did you have to drill out the valve hole on the rims to take the valve? Muzz

only ever run tubed tyres, the wheels aren't really designed to run tubeless on LC's and early RD's

totally agree with muttsnuts, dont even think about running with no tubes, i recommend bt45 tyres with heavy duty tubes and stick to standard tyre sizes

yeah, if you want your wheels refurbing, e.g. cleaning, polishing and painting etc I have a chap who does them, I am due to get a pair back this weekend, if I do I'll post some pics up if your interested, its not cheap, but having done many sets of wheels myself, believe me, its cheap enough compared to the time and effort it takes to get them right !

When I first got the LC I have now, I discovered some utter plonker had put tubeless valves on the tubed rims. Sold to me with 'full MOT'. I'd did 7 miles on it like that, yikes.

He's based near me in Malton, North Yorks, PM me if you want to know prices as I don't like to advertise other peoples prices in an open forum
