I have been browsing the forum for some time now but have not got around to posting anything until now as with some interest i notice there seems to be a few posting from York where i also live. I know of at least 4 previous LC owners getting new ones in the last year and i myself have started to rebuild my own 350 which i have owned since 1984 and it last saw the road in 1994 so its long overdue doing! I will attempt to post some pics on the rebuilds page but dont hold your breath! My bike was from Redhill in Surrey and reg no. is YGJ901W if anyone remembers it?

Hi Muzz, your nickname rings a bell, I am from York originally (Acomb) but live in Malton now
If you need any help with your rebuild feel free to give me a shout or if you need some parts, I have quite a few hanging about in my garage, although I am selling some at the moment, plus if you need to know where to get stuff done locally then I pretty much know who is good, bad, expensive or sensible etc

I was Acomb as well so yes i bet i know you and thanks for offer off parts - i think i should have everything (but you never know!) what i do need is a local painter to do me a Roberts job on it to try and get it back to how it was.

Hi Muzz, I have just recently joined the forum. I am in Huntington, York. Just started rebuilding my LC which I have owned for 22 years. It's been stripped for the last 10-12 years & I've now finally got the time to get on with it. Will hopefully post some photos as I go along. Kitkatjeff on here is also from York & also works at Nestle like myself. Cheers, Paul.

Good morning to you as well. Also have another mate at nestle with a ypvs that he has just bought and another lad at nestle who has owned one from new but is unable to ride it now as his sight is going. We also have our local madman who has a ypvs lambretta.
