wonders if they will fit my 83 31K ? Should do as 4L0 & LC2 calipers have the same fixings. Best to check with NK Racing tho' OEB

Note...i did this upgrade using Blade brakes from a 2002 bike, the forks instantly bottom and lock the front wheel, its nearly had me off a lot of times, you need to also budget for progressive springs at least, i only use one finger on the brake and its still well sketchy....brilliant brakes but with added danger,

I have this set up on my LC, its a great upgrade, but a word to the wise, it is well worth pre-loading your forks with 25mm to 30mm spacers under the fork spring caps, this stops the bike diving when you apply the brakes as it will otherwise, I used the standard 5/8's LC MC and its all good, only have to pull the front brake with one finger for it to work.
Use with braided hoses as well.......

I actually know the guy who is selling these, if you have a price in mind I could ask him if he is interested in ending early or doing it off ebay

I'll be the one to upset the apple cart. Why would you want to put a set of razor sharp brakes designed for a bike 30/40kg lighter than an LC on an "old school" Yamaha LC? Isn't that part of the attraction of owning an older bike with older technology? Maybe it's just old fart me. Worry ye not, I'll go to the naughty corner now.

My R1 set up cost £85.00 for the brackets from NK, and £60.00 for some very good R1 calipers off ebay, so if you can get them for less you are doing well.

yup, I paid similar amount, artound £140 to £150 is what you can expect to pay to get the set up done using new NK brackets
I made my own (copy of NK's brackets), but don't ask me to make any as I can't do it for what NK charges ! - the aircraft billet costs £25 before I do anything with it !
