Well its that time of year again to renew the bikes insurances, got the renewal through, £150 dearer than last year, so off I start to get quotes, make phone calls etc.
First few quotes, complete madness, I paid £213 last year for my MV and 350 LC, had some quotes as high as £583 (Carol Nash) - err, thanks but no thanks, quite a few wouldn't qoute or insure (Footman James - you have be a member of a club - eh?), Peter James (MV is too new).
My current insurance company said they could only do single bike policies now, so both bikes on seperate policies came out at £257, ok not too bad, but then I want to add my 400 later this year, so that's pants.
Rang around some more, and this is the best ever, called Bennetts, gave them the details, they couldn't insure me, sorry sir, can't insure you because of the modifications to the bike, what to the MV?, no sir, WHAT to the 350LC, yes sir, but its only got different exhausts (non performance increase) and uprated brakes, that's right, no one will insure it - eh, so let me get this right, you will insure my MV that has 146BHP at the rear wheel, but you won't insure my 350LC that has 40BHP (if your lucky) - that's correct - well fook me, the world's gone mad ! .....
ended up with eBike - multibike insurance fully comp for both bikes, protected no claims etc - £240 - that'll do !

No, me too.
Ive already had a flavour of it, as my 350 was once a 250, that saw one company quote me as much as the Hayabusa..
