So I'm making good progress with the strip down of the FII but have hit a hurdle.... Tryed to search but no luck, and the haynes book of lies didn't help much either.
My 1/4" drive 10mm socket is too big for the clearance space around the ignition switch bolts. Is there a special thin wall socket out there? Or am I being stupid?

I think I'll have to modify a socket as you say....

1/4" drive should fit up there.
