It seems all I do since joining is bloody ask!!
The previous owner has buggered up the clutch lever mount on my LC2 where it fixes around the handlebars and it's held together with a long bolt and nut which looks crap. I would like to know if the lever mount/fixing point from an FZR400 will fit an LC2? They look the same but as I'm trying to repair not replace this pains me but the old one has been well abused over the years and needs replacing. The only thing is as you will all know they are Lord Lucan rare to find an OE as are the levers. They are avaliable patterned so I will have to go that route.

Perch, I knew there would be a correct name. That's one of the parts I need along with an OE lever. I have seen one for an FZR400 that looks identical but don't want to buy it if it will not fit. That's where I ask the knowledgeable folks.

Thanks Shytalk, I was in a position yesterday and had to say yes or no long before you posted so I bit the bullet and bought it as cheap as I could. Worst case scenario when it arrives if it doesn't fit I now know someone who has one that will fit. If it's for sale!! If you could find some kidney bean MPH clocks I'd be very impressed!!

When it comes to treating Reba to replacement parts I'm allowed to look down the back of the sofa for more change Mr. Mine are in K's being a swedish import and although my truck is in K's too I prefer to read MPH when I'm on a bike.

Found out today that the lever from an FZR400 DOES fit a LC2! Needed a bit of fettling as the internal diameter was very tight. I guess with an irish screwdriver it would have fitted 1st go but I wanted to do it right so Mr Dremmel came out to play with a sanding wheel on. Clutch lever now sorted!!

Genuine clutch perch and lever still available from Fowlers. Bought one of each last week.... That's just my luck to know that now! Part of the fun is trying to revive old parts rather than buying new bits if it's possible but I admit I will have to buy new bits to get it completed.
