Until I get my head round it all I need a spot of assistance please. My 31k is leaking on the overflow pipe even with the fuel tap turned off. Can I assume it will be a float bowl issue? ie not cutting the fuel off. I had this once on an old gsx750 but this is my first RD so I think it's best to ASK rather than assume.
Also it seems the front pads are dragging, not severely but I can feel it none the less. Would that be dodgy pistons in the caliper that need a clean?
Thank you guys, it's appreciated.

Usually the needle valves - the rubber perishes and doesn't seal. Brakes - probably dirt behind the seals putting pressure onto the piston, if so will need removing and cleaning, possibly new seals.
