A standard 350 is good for around 110 mph. On my original one in 1982 I had microns, boyesen 2-stage reeds, ported reed blocks, k&n filters and one extra tooth on gearbox sprocket. I reached 115 mph on the A38 near Burton then the B8es plugs took control and shut the engine down. They were covered in molten alloy coming off the top of the pistons. Yep, I forgot to upgrade to B9s! My current bike with Allspeeds feels like it will do 110, but it never will. I don't have enough confidence in thrashing it, having blown a crank last year. If I want to go that fast or faster, I just take the Gixxer out.

Its a few years ago now but my 250LC cracked a 100 regularly, in fact, most mornings on the way to work down the A5 and would run to 105MPH on the speedo given that extra bit of room/road..
