Ive been quiet for a while as I've been doing other things, but what I have done is try to combine a bunch of bike projects I had ongoing (and done) into a single website as a place where you can read them, plus a bunch of other hopefully useful things... Ok, be gentle its not finished, but its a start. I will add more as I get time, but for now you should be able to read up on some of your favourites without the pics getting unloaded by those @#$%& at Imageshack etc. So, off you go... For the full 2smoked experience, click here for 2smoked.com ...Enjoy!

Thanks guys, very kind of you both. It's a labour of love to consolidate all my bits of info from all over the place and then expand on them, but it's always nice to see a plan come together. It will be a while before its all complete, but im hopeful it wont take forever as I need to get back on and finish some of my bikes! LOL!

Hi Jon, very nicely put together and very informative. I also like your interest in Omega watches, I am very lucky to have been bought a Omega Speedmaster last year after lusting over one for ages, next stop a nice planet ocean one in orange, that looks the business. Take care Jon and keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kinds words guys, it's appreciated. Denzil, The Speedy is a great watch and they have been selling like hotcakes the past weeks after the demise of the first man to wear one on the moon. The PO is also a great watch, but for me I will always prefer vintage, and the 60s Seamaster 300 can be has from all new parts and a really quality vintage movement and represents a superb value for money watch over the modern versions, in the uk email Swiss Time Services and they will do you one, say you know me as they know me well etc. it's a superb all round watch imho

Thanks Jon, I will look in to that thank you very much. It's a lovely looking watch I must say so yes you only live once and all that. Ha ha where's the wife debit card?? At work there are now 6 people who have all gone out and bought an Omega watch because of mine and as you would expect they all love their Omegas. Quality timepieces and it's Not just a watch. Take care big man and thanks again.

No worries Denzil. This is what im talking about, pictured on Omega mesh as well... just lurvely! They do a date version as well of course... thats the one i would choose, I wear one a lot of the time, its not as big or heavy as the PO and much more like the size and weight of the Speedy you already have. Beauty of all new case parts is bright lume at night and of course real water resistance

Well I promised... and then it took ages to deliver... hmmm.... Never underestimate the slog that goes into such a task is what I say, I sure did when I originally professed that I would have the updates done in a week... oops... it took more like 3 months! I'm pleased to say Ive finally got the story of the RD421LC fully updated til where it is now on my website, phew! My RD350LC 421cc AthenaI have also condensed and updated, rewritten and improved and put my 1985 F1 YPVS on my website as well. The story of that bike can now be found by clicking this link: Jon's 1985 RZ350 that was a RZ250 YPVS F1....and the full site (with more upgrades - R6 shock / Zeel info / links etc etc) plus the MT250, SL125, MB5 and MT50s and all sorts is here: Full 2smoked.com website

Ok, updated the site again this week. most of the updates were for the 85 F1, 83 31k and the XT500, but I added a few more hints and tips articles as well like Triumph brakes and some plastic repair stuff. Hopefully useful to someone
