I have decided to join the more modern world and eventually got a new base unit the other day after getting fed up with waiting for the old system to boot up and get ready for browsing. Quick question on email, my old XP system used Outlook Express as a standard email system but that isn't available on Windows 7 so what do you lot use / recommend, and is there any way of copying old emails onto the new system - same for the contacts. Any advise welcomed.

Window Live Mail is normally bundled with Windows 7 and will do the same thing +.
Normally you just have to activate it but if not just download it.

Thanks for the replies guys, I spent ages on the thing yesterday, mainly cabling the thing up and setting stuff up, I have gone for the outlook option as it looks similar to outlook express, I have set up my accounts and they all work ;D just need to play around now trying to get the old stuff of the XP system onto this new one, and creat accounts for everybody. Nothing is ever quick or too straight forward, its a bit like a rebuild of sorts
