hi folks,i bort a valve mota many many moons ago from a crashed bike.the crash caused some damage to one of the barrels whereby it has knocked the exhaust stud out sideways if you like and broke the housing around it if you know what i mean,so theres a chunk missing around the exhaust port.is it possible to get it repaired? i can get a pic up tomorrow to better show what i mean.the barrels have been ported so dont really want to buy another barrel because i would then have to have it matched.i was thinking of building up the missing part with chemical metal and then drilling and tapping out for the exhaust stud, but i dont know if chemical metal will be a)good enough, and b) if it will withstand the heat.anyone any ideas? or can it be repaired proffesionally somewhere?
cheers

get the barrel of to a good welder to see if he can fill in the hole in with weld, then retap the thread for the exhaust thread.
