Just done about 25 miles in non running in mode so popped the plugs out to see how they are. Now got 38 pilots in the pwk's and standard 135 main on richest clip with a ramair filter foam fitted in the YPVS airbox with snorkels out and lid cut at rear. Still not happy on neutral throttle ( is better every time I down jet ) but clean on any opening with only the slightest hint of a splutter as it passes 5.5k sometimes. Opinions please Steve

Check what slides are in there as the jjh needles do not work great with the 4 slides that i have had to change to n99 needles which are hard to get a hold of

I have one of the original needles so I'll check what was in them to start. Steve

Dont think you are too far away with the main jet That's what I thought although still a bit wet round the outside and oily. Was trying to keep on large throttle openings so will try and see after some miles on the pilot. Steve

If uou have the 3.5 slides the jjh needles should be ok I'll check them when carbs back off. Want to get some miles on it and also need to get a full zeel to sort the timing and get the best from the pipes. Think I'll raise the clip a bit and re check then. Cheers, Steve
