Hi,
Have used Por 15 with no problems. You can use the "Marine Clean" and "Metal Ready" parts on more than one tank and the sealer has over half left after draining but not sure how fast it goes off.
Only thing is if you are ever going to sell either there is a stigma over sealed tanks in case they are rotten or the liner fails.

ive heard vinegar is good but you have to flush tank well after or it will keep eating away at the metal? apparently diesel neutralises it.also heard you can use baking soda/water to neutralise, but also heard it needs to be treated after aswell.seems it depends who you talk to as to the best method.

Problem with the acid route is that the metal has a protective layer which is why it rusts in patches as it breaks down. When this is removed the surface will flash rust quickly, hence why I por 15'd my other tank after removing the surface rust.
Now no one will buy it as they automatically thing it is a sealed rotten tank.

heres a link...http://www.mopedarmy.com/wiki/Removing_rust_from_a_gas_tank.....ok maybe not in the way it should be,but you can copy and paste.on the coke side,it says it needs to be diet coke because of the lack of sugar.

Np and do what was said about making sure its well cleaned out,i spent money on a full tank of petrol and did the same process, fill up leave it a few days and then filter the petrol and put back in, keep doing until your happy,i found that the best method to filter was coffee filter papers.
