New member here from the US and I wanted to say hello, show a couple pictures of my bikes and ask some questions about doing some mods to one of my bikes. First the questions. Someone is selling an RGV banana rear end and an '06 R6 front end. Im thinking of buying it, but I dont know what i'm doing. The rear end does not have a wheel, but the R6 front end does. I want matching wheels and I was wondering if an R6 rear wheel will fit in the banana swingarm. He also sad that he planned to put a GS500 wheel in the rear end, so if the R6 rear wheel would not fit into the swingarm, would the GS500 front wheel fit into the R6 front end? Lastly, are there any other wheels I didnt mention that would fit into an RGV rear end and an '06 R6 front end? Thank you to anyone who helps. I know I love to look at pictures of everyone elses bikes, so here are a couple pictures of mine. Nothing special, but then again they are RZs

Hi and welcome.
Better using matching front and rear ends as spacers easily sorted but when it comes to discs/calipers and speedo drive it can get complicated.
You would have to check the R6 front end had enough offset between the stem and the forks to allow decent turning circle. R6 will also have no speedo drive so you will need to fit new clocks.
Anything is possible with machining and spacers/adaptors but think the R6 rear wheel would have too much off set on the rear sprocket to line up at front as it runs a 180 tyre which is doubtful of fitting in the rgv are.
Suppose that's why the RGV front and rear conversions are so popular as all fits easy and the forks are the same length as well as the bikes being similar weights so spring rate and damping are good.
If fitting the rgv swinger you can buy the kit to fit the rgv swinger/shock with a kit from NK racing.

Thanks for the advice so far. My next question is....suppose you put an RGV front and rear end on, how do you mount the gauges, bikini fairing, etc etc? Can the stock handle bars and master cylinders be used? Any advice or links as always is appreciated.

The RGV top yoke can be drilled for risers or NK here welds them on. After that it's simply a case of making some brackets to allow the 31k headlamp/clock bracket fit. Mine was like this before I bought it. I only bought the chassis as the bloke broke the bike for parts. Steve
