Looking to see why the twin headlights were lacking in brightness, I find they are 35/35w bulbs, anyone know if replacing with 55/60 bulbs will overload the system.

I've looked at the Haynes book of lies and found no info, then I remembered I have the bikes hand book and it Say's 55/60w x 2 so I fitted two and with the engine off, and lights on, there is not enough power to turn the power valves. So either the hand book is wrong or I have a duff battery.

Just had a reply from Yamaha Technical Service Department, and the correct bulbs are 35/35w, so looks like I'll have to try to find brighter bulbs.
Thanks guys for all the advice.
