Does the thickness of the powercoat effect the performance of the exhaust?

Normal powder paint will burn off at about 260 deg C, we have a lot of powder painting at work, when we need to coat our heat exchangers that run directly of exhaust gasses at approx 650 deg c we have used a company called camcoat, very very hard finish and good for 1000 deg c, i have chrome allspeeds but if i has std pipes i would defo use these people.
