Anyone know how to convert a 31k to vgv clocks? or tzr 250/n2 clocks, my 31k has cable drive for rev counter. Do i need to change the ecu?

Hi, TZR/N2 clocks the easiest, done it about a dozen times. No need to change the cdi, just fit the lc2 loom to the clocks with a few changes. For the tacho you will need to run an extra wire to the Black/yellow at the 29k50 CDI Next problem is the kidney clocks having 2 indicator warnings and the N only one. I fitted 2 led's behind the one light but have since been informed if you ditch the commons from the 2 lights and simply connect the 2 feeds to one lamp it will work. Worst bit is finding and paying for an N2 clock/headlight bracket. Fitting rgv clocks will be a pain as the tacho works on a different principle so you need a box of electronics to run it. A few examples I've done different ways Lc clocks are easily converted, use the cable tacho and can be bolted under the top yoke. Steve Steve

Many thanks! I think I'll go with tzr/n2 clocks as they look the best, but most£££!!! But now I know how! Cheers, Dave.
