Hi folks, just started my 250lc up after a 5 year resto...did not rebuild the engine but did drain it of all fluids. Heads a shed but I do remember the kickstart used to stick towards the top end of its travel and now what I have is a noisy kickstart mech when engine is running. If I move the kickstart part way through its travel the noise stops. Any ideas?? Apart from that it sounds bloody awesome with the new allspeeds!!

Headcoats,Scoobytoo and Butchers THANKS GUYS! That was one quick fix...I think I was scared of what I may find but one side gasket a bit of gear oil and coolant and all it was was the circular retaining spring on the kickstart idle gear was trying to escape. JOB DONE.
