gday again, picked up a spare tank today, it was pretty cheap, its rough but feels solid, now the problem, no key for fuel cap, last time i had this problem i drilled all around the lock and all the metal bit fell into the tank and took a bit of getting out, is there a better way to get the cap off?thanks in advance, ken

cap lock are usually not bad.
In the past I have used a suitable screwdriver and just forced it to turn.

well got the cap off, pretty rusty inside, went to take fuel tap off and bolts rusted in tight, started applying a bit of force and the seam along the bottom near the tap let go, anyway 20 bucks down the drain, but im going to practice on it,painting etc and try and make it look good and will hang on the wall for decoration,
