Hi Ken, it looks like the hex bits are adapters with various threads on the end. Contact the seller and ask if one is M14X1.25. The price is not too bad, mine was about £100 odd back in the 80's, but its a superb piece of kit, and I didn't have to pay for it . The job is easily done with the engine in the frame but the front bottom screw on the stator plate is a cow to get the spanner on and the spanner fouls on the genny windings if your not careful . HTH.

thanks gary, it does indeed come with the 14mm x 1.25 adapter, i will buy one tomorrow when a bit of ebay money comes in, im selling off one hobby to fund this bike,and the next, once a bloke has all the tools youd be maD not to use them,so another bike it is,later.regards ken

theres a guy on ebay doing the ignition timing tool for 25 quid and u dont need a dti guage

All I did was remove the guts from an old spark plug,drill and tap the side for a bolt to clamp the dti,job done. Found a metric dti on the bay for under a tenner.
