Hi All My 250LC still running rich after rebuild. Symptoms are: lots of smoke, will start first or second kick without choke when cold. plugs dark and wet. wont rev beyond 5000rpm - bogs down. Have checked and set oil pump, then disconected this to run on premix, 32-1, still the same. Have replaced float valves and seats and set float hight, changed main jets for 190 and needles set correct as per manual. air mix screw 1 1/8 turns out. I have dropped bars on and there is no adjustment left at the bars or carbs for the throttle cable, but it ticks over fine at around 1200rpm, however still smokey. has a 275 overbore and 350lc pipes. runs standard airbox. both exhaust smoke the same. what am I missing?
