hi anyone, bought myself some good nick second hand pipes, after fitting found out ones gotta rattle in one of the cans, the question is can you buy new cans to match the pipes, any light on this would be appreciated, cheers

so they say.but working from mikunis tuning manual and doin it practically working through the 3 circuits it should b a doddle.seems funny there's a flat spot at 5-6k where the carbs circuits work on throttle position not speed so wherever ur throttle is at the 5-6k flatspot is the circuit that needs jetting/adjusting.im guessing its the pilot circuit or needle jet Although with that said bare says his ran fine on stock If i ever get mine fitted so they dont crash against the frame il try n see what i come up with

Curious.. that. My Microns worked instantly and perfectly on OEM Yama jettings. No flat spot at all.. ever.. this on a 1ua lump inserted into my LC though. Never did even run the LC lump :_) So I have no idea what that's like Can only suggest that you ensure that ..all .. your bits are in 'good as new' condition, as even a small wear/flaw can really lead one off in odd directions.. unwillingly. As digression: fitting PWKS increased the midrange pull Big Time.. though, but there wasn't a flat spot to 'fix' either. Keihins are Dead easy to jet as they are nowhere near as finicky as Mikunis.. It seems that 'close' on PWK's is far better than spot on with Mikunis

Now upjetted and fine. Steve
