after being layed up in the garage for a couple of years ive been doing abit of tiding up of my 31k today came and cleaned out carbs new battery new fuel dash lights came on powervalve servo opened and closed as it should but it began ticking repeatedly !!!!!!and after kicking over it wouldnt start (good spark thou ) been in the garage all day any ideas or know of anyone in nottingham who could sort it for a good price cheers

Doesn't sound too terminal (assuming ran at last attempt) I'm kinda under the impression that there maybe one or two around the Nottingham area who can help out

did you put the floatbowls back on the correct carbs, they are different.

yes i did one carb at a time and new fuel and tap is fine

are the plugs getting wet ? or even too wet/ flooding ?

heat the plugs , put some good fuel down the holes and try ,, never fails for me

did u put the carb sliders back in the right way as the throttle will be stuck on full and it will never start untill you bump it ..
