This is my first post here so hello. Couldn't afford one of these when i was a kid, so had 10 year old KH's at the time. Well it's a bit of a project as you can see. And i've never done this before, so loads of mistakes in the pipe line. Probably Anyway here she is [http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/421593_2771995265075_1413836390_32257096_826568451_n.jpg/img] I shall add more pics as I go along. And i'm sorry in advance for all the stupid questions

Thanks for the welcome. The bike was dead cheap, so I had to really.
First question is, can anything be done with those pipes (they need some welding)or are they to far gone?

Tank has 2 dents where the controls have made contact. The plastics, some good some with cracks
Update, it's the fairing lowers which are cracked. the side panels are in pretty good condition. With no cracks or damage

Luckily after stripping, it doesn't look as bad as I first thought. A small bit of welding on the frame where the sidestand has been ripped off (?) then it's off to the powdercoaters

I am a bit like america always late to say hello, but hello all the same, Good luck with the rebuild, for the money you have a cracking base to work with. One word of warning, it does become addictive, you will find yourself trawling through the internet, well ebay night after night. The other thing i find is once you think you have cleaned/polished a part you will not be satisfied and do it again its a vicous circle but bloody good fun lol
Keep the pics coming.

Well frame is ready for the powder coaters, and a small piece cut out to accept the R6 shock Turned up in much better condition than I expected I was very happy with thee calipers as well, even had good pads in Not much to do at the moment so polished and rebuilt the forks. Hopefully should see loads of progress when I get the frame and wheels back
