Just did a 31k one with an ordinary stapler.
Not the easiest to get in to some of the spots but worked fine.
Did buy a heavy duty stapler a while ago for seats but as the staples are thicker they won't go into the plastic properly so no use.
If you use 4mm staples you can go quite near the edge and is fine.

this is really doing my effin' head in now.
I cant find a stapler that will take the small 6mm staples required, OR if I do, it doesnt have the power to stick them into the seat-base.
It seems a little daft to fork out £35 on an air staple-gun to do this one job, so any suggestions on where to get this seat-cover fitted??
can you hire air staple-guns?

I use an Arrow T50 staple gun & 6mm staples, do you not know anyone who has one, most builders have them

i hired a nice expensive staple gun from my local tool hire shop for £7 for 2 days,i had to buy the staples from them for a couple of quid and pay a returnable deposit incase i lost/damaged/didnt reurn there tool but seemed the best way to do it as its not a tool id use regulary.
