Hi all, I'm Den from Sunny Stoke on Trent!!, I am new to the Forum, having just bought a "basket case". Basically I have a frame with 2 wheels, exhausts (damaged), various boxes of bits, top and bottom case's that match the frame & V5. An engine that has had its barrels removed but has been sitting in water for 5-6 years. I have now stripped the frame/swinging arm and sent that to be painted. I have managed to split the "Water" engine and take the crank out and the berrings sound "nasty" so going to wait until funds allow to send the barrels and crank to be done. In the mean time there is plenty to do with polishing and painting, the forum is brilliant and I have learnt so much from some very clever guys out there. I built a 3 n half elsie about 20 years ago "gosh" from a bag of bits and it was ace. I have had a few bikes in the past even the bike I wish I never sold " Suzuki RG500LC, god I wish I kept that" Anyways, as the title says, where can I get the dog leg collets, little plastic bits that fit over the leg, when I took the swinging arm apart I had to hammer these buggers out, consequently the plastic bits all broke up and got stuck in the arm. Keep up the good work lads, have already sent NORBO an email to order some switch gear transfers. Let the work commence. Attachments:

hi m8.i did answer about the reg/rect mounting elsewhere. it mount to the frame to the rear of the oil tank at 45 degree angle, behind right hand side panel. i think the red/yellow you are talking about goes to the pass switch.if i remember correctly it plugs in just behind the headstock around the servo area depending how long the wires are

Mellow, you are a star thanks very much, sorted the RR no joy with the spare wire yet though as have not got a spare to plug in to. Just a quickie though can the side stand switch be bought, I have the cable and the electrics but no switch. Cheers
